Buses are now Wi-Fi Connected in the Capital City Dhaka

To the route of Uttara and Motijheel 20 buses of BRTC will be included WI-FI connection in the capital city Dhaka. These buses are namely “Digital Bus “These buses will also have the service of vehicle tracking so that people will easily know about the location of the bus.

Government powered Access to Information (A2I) helped in this regard. Each bus will contain 4 3G WI-FI routers of Teletalk. So 40 passengers can use the internet by using smartphones at a time. On the bus, there will be some barcode system after that people will take a picture of the bar code and then they will have access to using free WI-FI internet.

Gradually all the routes of Dhaka city will be WI-FI connected as per the Government body. It’s really a praise-worthy step from A2I. They should continue this kind of activity. A2I and also the government should try to minimize the cost of internet browsing across Bangladesh and it should be the prerequisite of Digital Bangladesh as per this Government. It will also make more sense among people.
