World’s giant money transferring company MasterCard opened their office in Bangladesh. Through this office in Bangladesh MasterCard started their journey in Bangladesh. A program held in Bangladesh to inaugurate this and the guest was Dr. Atiur Rahman, governor of Bangladesh Bank as Chief Guest and Nurul Amin, Chairman of Association of Bankers. 


Also present at the ceremony from MasterCard side were Ron Garrow, Chief human resources officer, Ari Sarker, division president, South Asia, Vikas Varma, area head, South Asia, and Sayed Mohammad Kamal, Country Manager, MasterCard Bangladesh and many other people from various sectors. 


MasterCard found Bangladesh as a potential country that’s why they took the decision to start their journey in Bangladesh. They found Bangladesh as a potential developing and e-commerce developing area. MasterCard took their office at Gulshan in Dhaka, Bangladesh. 


MasterCard now opened their office at Gulshan, Dhaka and they have also intended to open many more branches in Bangladesh. Bangladeshi people will be benefited through this MasterCard service. Many people from Bangladesh are doing online transactions from the rest of the society so MasterCard will create a valve.


Bangladesh is the 24th potential and 2nd rapidly growing internet users over the world. We are welcoming MasterCard in Bangladesh and it’s really a praise-worthy step from MasterCard.
