PayPal Allows Bitcoin Transactions

Bitcoin has been added to the list of transactions on PayPal, a popular global online payment system based in the United States. Not just Bitcoin; PayPal has also added cryptocurrencies or virtual currencies like Ethereum and Lightcoin to its payment gateway.

PayPal's landmark announcement comes just before the launch of the shopping service in the United States. PayPal's new service is going to be launched next week. The number of sellers or service providers offering PayPal is 26 million.

With the introduction of cryptocurrency, customers or payers will now be able to make payments to these sellers through this virtual currency through PayPal. Such currencies can be transacted through PayPal Digital Wallet service.

Meanwhile, other payment systems, such as Square's Cash and Revolt, have already added cryptocurrency to their payments system.
