Google is bringing new app icons for smartphones

Google constantly brings updates to their stock apps through various updates. But till now the tech giant hasn't made any changes to its app icon. A few months ago, Google made several changes to the Play Store app icon. This time, the company owned by Alphabet is working to make some changes in the design of message, phone, and contact apps (Gizchina).

Where the previous version of Contact had light shades and a blue background, the new version is giving it a more simple and modern design. Also, the new design app will not have any shadows. On the other hand, Google's Phone app has recently entered the beta stage. Because of this, there is no information available right now about what the new version will look like.

A new version of the Messages app is also being launched. Like the contact icon, it has a more advanced design. Compared to the previous version, it looks cleaner and Google has added several new features. Android theme icons are more attractive even with new icon designs. They are more colorful and easier to find. Although the appearance of the icons has been changed, Google has tried to keep the original blue icon for familiarity purposes.

According to Google, the apps will easily integrate with third-party apps due to the simple design. According to technologists and analysts, the new icon design may have been inspired by the Material U theme. Google may introduce new app icons through an update in a few days. They are expected to be rolled out to users next week.
