Coca-Cola will contribute 11 crore to support the corona pandemic in Bangladesh


Coca-Cola Bangladesh will initially provide financial assistance of Tk 11.5 crore to combat the spread of the epidemic in the form of coronavirus. They have taken this initiative to help more than 5 million people affected by Corona.


Coca-Cola Bangladesh has taken this planned step to strengthen the country's healthcare infrastructure in the context of the ongoing epidemic. The company has already taken the necessary steps to provide personal protective equipment or other necessary health equipment including PPE to protect the health workers. Coca-Cola has got CARE Bangladesh as a partner in the implementation of this initiative. In addition, Coca-Cola is providing its own free products to meet the drinking needs of doctors, nurses, police and other law enforcement officers who are playing a leading role in the fight against corona.


In this context, Coca-Cola's Southwest Asia Operations Vice President Sandwip Bajoria said, "We are currently facing an unprecedented situation. We sincerely thank all those who have worked tirelessly to keep us safe during this time of crisis. Especially the health workers, who have kept themselves engaged in the service of humanity even in these difficult times. We always strive for the development of society all over the world including Bangladesh as per the goal of the Coca-Cola Company. We will continue to work with everyone in society to overcome this epidemic. Hopefully, if everyone can work in unity, we will be able to overcome this crisis and move towards a brighter future.
