"Despite geopolitical advantages, Huawei's net profit rose 5.6 percent last year and its revenue rose 13.1 percent year-on-year in the first half of this year," the Fortune report said.

According to a press release issued by the media, Fortune publishes this ranking of 500 companies every year depending on the revenue and profit of different companies. It also takes into account the comparative size of the institutions.
