India Banned Total 59 Chinese apps Including TikTok


After the dispute on the Indo-China border, the central government took major steps against China. A total of 59 Chinese apps have been banned in the country by the central government. The list includes a total of 59 Chinese apps including Tiktok, Shairtit, UC Browser, Mi Video Call-Xiaomi, WeChat, Vigo Video, Likee, Clean Master, Helo, WeMeet. All these apps were banned in India by the Ministry of Information Technology.


The Central Information Technology Department said, "This decision has been taken to protect the various information of Indians. There is a possibility that the information in the mobile phone from this type of Chinese app can leak easily.


From the Source the List of Prohibited Apps are Shareit, Kwai, UC Browser, Baidu map, Shein, Clash of Kings, DU battery saver, Hello, Likee, YouCam makeup, Mi Community, CM Browers, Virus Cleaner, APUS Browser, ROMWE, Club Factory, Newsdog, Beutry Plus, WeChat, UC News, QQ Mail, Weibo, Xender, QQ Music, QQ Newsfeed, Bigo Live, SelfieCity, Mail Master, Parallel Space, Mi Video Call - Xiaomi, WeSync, ES File Explorer, Viva Video - QU Video Inc, Meitu, Vigo Video, New Video Status, DU Recorder, Vault- Hide, Cache Cleaner DU App studio, DU Cleaner, DU Browser, Hago Play With New Friends, Cam Scanner, Clean Master - Cheetah Mobile, Wonder Camera , Photo Wonder, QQ Player, We Meet, Sweet Selfie, Baidu Translate, Vmate, QQ International, QQ Security Center, QQ Launcher, U Video, V fly Status Video, Mobile Legends and DU Privacy.


According to the Ministry of Information and Technology, Government of India, these apps are a threat to the sovereignty, integrity and security of the country. For this reason, the government has banned these 59 apps in India. 59 apps are banned under Section 69A of the Information Technology Act.
